STEPHANIE ANDERSON
Stephanie began yoga in 2000 while she was completing a diploma in therapeutic massage and neuromuscular therapy at The NZ college of massage.
It was a natural progression to train to teach yoga as there were so many benefits that she was able to intergrate into massage treatment plans and homecare.
She has now been teaching for 17 years and is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and is in the process of sitting her Junior Intermediate Level 2.
She is a mother of 3 children and throughout her pregnancies yoga was invaluable
She regularly attends teacher development workshops with Peter Scott her senior teacher from Australia.
She also trains with visiting Senior teachers from overseas and NZ to keep her knowledge fresh and current.
Keeping strong and mobile is important regardless of age it keeps the tissues and joints hydrated which prevent injury and illness. It's never too early or too late to begin.
